Scanner does not turn on / touchscreen does not work

If your touchscreen is not working, please attempt the following:

1. Power off the scanner.

2. Unplug the power cable from electrical outlet.

3. Remove the battery as per images below:

(a) iTero Element™ 2 scanner / iTero Element™ 5D imaging system

(b) iTero Element™ 5D Plus imaging system / iTero Lumina™ scanner

Use the star screwdriver to remove the battery.

4. Press and hold power button for 10 – 15 seconds.

5. Plug in the power cable to the power point.

6. Turn on the scanner without the battery.

7. If the scanner is working fine, insert the battery back into the scanner.

8. If the steps above cannot resolve the issue, please contact iTero Support Team for further assistance.
