Battery is depleting quickly or not charging

Battery when not in use may last for around one hour depending on scanner model. If your battery is depleting fast when it is not charging or not in use, please try the following steps:

1. Power off the scanner.

2. Unplug the power cable from electrical outlet and change electrical outlet.

3. If issue persists, unplug the power cable from electrical outlet and remove the battery as per images below.

(a) iTero Element™ 2 scanner / iTero Element™ 5D imaging system

(b) iTero Element™ 5D Plus imaging system / iTero Lumina™ scanner

Use the star screwdriver to remove the battery.

4. Press and hold power button for 10 – 15 seconds.

5. Plug in the power cable to the power point.

6. Turn on the scanner without the battery.

7. If the scanner is working fine, insert the battery back into the scanner.

8. If the steps above cannot resolve the issue, please contact iTero Support Team for further assistance.
